Events Coordinator

The Events Coordinator will be employed with the Notarial Archives Foundation (NAF) as the operator of the Notarial Registers Archive (NRA), which forms part of the National Archives of Malta (NAM). The successful candidate will work within the Administration Department and will be responsible for planning and executing outreach activities and events of the NAF.

The main responsibilities of this position shall be the creation and execution of an annual calendar of activities, which includes but is not limited to lectures, tours, and workshops. The Events Coordinator will be expected to handle bookings, rosters, procurement, client and supplier communication, and general logistics for all events, which may be held during and after office hours, at the NRA and off-site. This full-time position allows for a flexible work schedule.

The successful candidate must:

  • Possess a Bachelor degree at MQF Level 6 in any subject within the Humanities or the Media and Knowledge Sciences;
  • Experience in Communications or event organisation will be considered an asset;
  • Have strong communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills, with a confident, engaging approach to interactions;
  • Be flexible and can work independently as well as part of a team;
  • Be proficient in the Maltese and English language, both written and verbal;
  • Be willing to work evenings, and occasionally weekends and public holidays.
